Sandhurst

Located less than 8 miles from downtown Charleston, the well-established neighborhood of Sandhurst is characterized by its wide streets and brick ranch homes constructed in the 1960’s and 1970’s. Most of the homes in the Sandhurst neighborhood are single-story and feature wood floors. While some have been completely renovated, other homes have not been renovated at all. As a well-established neighborhood, Sandhurst features mature landscaping and live Oak trees. Due to the convenient location of the Sandhurst neighborhood, residents are only minutes away from the restaurants, shops and other attractions found in downtown Charleston. Both Folly Beach and the Isle of the Palms are a short distance away, as is the Intracoastal Waterway and major rivers such as Stono and Ashley.
