Avondale

Located in the heart of West Ashley between Saint Andrews Boulevard and Savannah Highway, Avondale features 340 homes built in the 1940’s and 1950’s. Most of the community’s homes are single-family homes featuring either brick or aluminum siding, though there are a few newer homes and townhomes as well. Homes within the Avondale community offer a wide range of sizes and floor plans, with sizes ranging from 950 to 3,000 square feet. Most of the homes are only generously-sized lots with mature live oak trees. Often referred to as the “Designer District,” Avondale offers its residents easy access to a variety of amenities.
