Historic District

Featuring a large number of homes constructed from the early 1900’s to the 1950’s, the Historic District of Summerville offers homes with a wide variety of distinctive designs. Some of the homes date back as far back as the 1830’s. A number of brick ranchers constructed from the 1970’s to the 1980’s are also available within the district. In addition to being surrounded by the historic beauty of the neighborhood, residents of the Historic District also enjoy being within walking distance of downtown Summerville. Downtown Charleston and its many restaurants, shops and amenities is also located just 40 minutes away from the Historic District, while numerous beaches are less than an hour away.
